Bent: Jesus is the right choice to go to Arsenal, the gunners are short of him

Former Premier League striker Darren Bent spoke on the programme this week about Jesus, the Brazil international who has attracted interest from tottenham Hotspur and Real Madrid, and urged Arsenal to sign him as soon as possible as he is the right choice for Arsenal up front.

“This is a step in the right direction. I think Arsenal desperately need a centre-forward. Lacazette is set to officially leave and Nketiya is expected to sign a new contract, but is he the long-term answer? I’m not sure.”

“I think nkeitia needs a partner and Jesus would be perfect. Jesus has scored 58 goals in 159 Premier League games, which is not bad. He scored almost 100 goals for Manchester City, I think it was 95. Jesus will score if he can keep playing centre-forward. I think Jesus has the right age and personality and I would love to see him at Arsenal.
