Liverpool could sign Werner for Mane, klopp’s preferred wide attacker

Former Scotland international Alan Hutton said on the programme this week that he thinks Liverpool could try to fill the void left by mane by signing Wayne weiner from Chelsea.

“I think Werner can bring something to Liverpool with his pace and skill and I think he can fit into the Liverpool system. If you look at klopp over the years at Liverpool, he likes wingers who cut inside and that’s where Werner is better.

“In my opinion, I don’t think Werner is a legitimate number nine, he misses too many chances, but he can be a threat on the wing. He can be a problem for defenders, just as Manet did. After manet’s departure, it was clear there was room in the Liverpool squad.
