Mahrez: the loss of Raheem Sterling and Jesus has hurt us and the new arrivals are settling in quickly

Mahrez, who is training with Manchester City in Houston, spoke to the media about the adjustment of new arrivals and the departures of Raheem Sterling and Luis Jesus.

About the training in the United States and the adjustment of the new players

Although the weather was very hot, the training went well. It was a great experience coming to Houston and it was great to have some new teammates that I know will make the team better.

Harland, Phillips, Alvarez, Ortega, they’ve all played really well, and they’re getting to know the team and getting into practice. We created a very comfortable environment for them, so they can get used to it very quickly.

The departures of Sterling and Jesus

Obviously it hurts the team to lose them, they are all important players for us. We can only wish sterling and Jesus the best of luck and work with our new team-mates to try and build on our success in the new season.
